A beautiful species producing a succession of gem-like, crystalline flowers of strong substance during autumn. These are wide-open and flat and are strongly chequered in violet-purple, red and white. Its greyish-green, wavy leaves are equally attractive and are held in a tight rosette. A very rare offering from the Greek island of Samos and one for the collectors. Only a handful to go.
