Crocus pallasii subsp. pallasii aff. Samos Island
From Mt Ambelos on the lovely island of Samos, large, pale lilac, sometime almost white, flowers with bright red styles. Found growing in cracks on flat limestone slabs with iris, fritillaria and Colchicum variegatum. Will need a dry summer rest.
