Perennial alpine herb from the Central and Eastern Highlands of Tasmania forming dense mats of tiny silvery-white rosettes. The flower heads are a rusty-brown and the bracts tipped white. Difficult if kept too shaded and requiring sharp drainage. Best grown in a trough or container
