A robust Turkish endemic is widely distributed but is restricted to very local populations. Some find it one of the easier members of this difficult Oncocylus section to cultivate. Both standards & falls are veined with deep maroon on a straw-yellow ground. A large signal-patch of velvety maroon-black stains the falls below the cream to deep yellow beard of dense, short hairs. A beautiful species and worth every effort.
