Lilium leucanthum var. centifolium
One of the most highly prized Chinese species reaching and sometimes exceeding 2.5m and bearing between 5 and 25 large pale, creamy-white, open-faced trumpets. These are buttery-yellow in the throat and stained pinkish-purple on the reverse of the petals. Scattered, narrow, light green leaves and purplish bulbs.
