A fine tallish, fragrant jonquil with a deep non-crinkly cup and narrower petals than N. jonquilla. Produces an abundance of late flowers that persist well into spring. Has been listed as a variety of N. jonquilla but now thought to be more closely alligned with N. fernandesii.
