Elegant plant with tight clusters of up-facing, star-like, white flowers held on short branching stems close to the ground in spring. Much under-rated, very hardy, attractive group of plants that demand little except good light and some moisture while growing. This species is widespread in southern Europe and our stock is from a seed collection near Sparta in the Peloponnese.
