Seed-raised plants from the true wild species found growing in large clumps through open beech forest in northern Greece. These seedlings have incredible vigour and fragrance. Dense clusters of lovely soft yellow flowers with a vivid orange eye over broad, crinkly, mid-green leaves. Early flowerers, they provide a perfect foil for snowdrops and crocus.
