Primula vulgaris subsp. sibthorpii

The common yellow form of P. vulgaris ranges widely through Europe but from Greece eastwards into Western Asia it begins to be replaced with ssp. sibthorpii. This subspecies shows greater variations in flower colour from reddish-pink to lilac blue through paler shades to white. Rare offering.
