A high altitude plant commonly known as Iron Wort, and in the Balkans, as Mountain Tea. Low growing, perennial plant native to the Balkans where is used since ancient times as a panacea. Tea made from it’s flowering tops is very popular in Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Turkey and Albania where it is held in high esteem. An attractive perennial making a low silvery mound bearing clusters of small creamy-yellow flowers along willowy stems in summer.
