Thymus longicaulis

Rapidly spreading mats of thin wiry stems, with mildly scented, dark green, needle-like leaves. Completely smothered in bright, rosy-pink flowers throughout summer. An excellent choice for a hot and sunny site but will tolerate partial shade and quite moist sites. Much admired and a personal favourite
