Placed under T. kaufmanniana but it’s clearly closer to T. greigii or maybe a hybrid between the two. Deepest of yellow, satiny flowers, brush-marked in soft terracotta red both inside and out that stretch almost “radar-dish” flat in the sun. Impressed the judges at the Royal Horticultural Society Tulip Trials where it won an Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
